Summer Workshops 2022
For our Summer Workshops, we offer programs in Reading, Writing, and Math Skills to bridge the summer transition gap for students. Because they have missed so much academic understanding due to the pandemic gap in learning from the previous two years, our specialized workshops on Reading, Writing, and Math focus on benefitting the students with the basic skills they need to help them reach the next level in the Fall with the ease of transition — a boost-up in their learning. We will teach Reading comprehension skills, phonics, word decoding as well as sight word recognition and reading strategies in the Reading program. Our Writing program offers many skills and strategies presented in a fun and creative way to foster a love of learning and to combat the fear of the writing task. Math workshops will present mathematical principles and computation practice in a relaxed, unstressed atmosphere that allows students to engage and learn naturally at their own achievement levels. Taught by the best certified teachers who have impressive background experience and many years of teaching in their repertoire, these workshops are ideal for the summer learner as they only have three students in each group! Small groups are key to understanding and thriving in a workshop setting. Students will get individualized attention and interaction with the teacher as well as their peers within the two-hour structure. Space is limited, so please sign your child up today!
