Job Title: Part-Time Certified Special Education Teacher

Salary: $30,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Job Description: Teachers as Tutors is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Certified Special Education Teacher to join our team. This role involves providing one-on-one instruction to a student with Autism at our Alpharetta office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of the student. Create a supportive and structured learning environment.
- Employ a variety of teaching techniques and strategies to engage the student.
- Monitor and assess the student's progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for the student.
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified Special Education Teacher.
- Experience working with students with Autism is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for making a difference in a student's life.
